Jeong Young Hoon (정영훈; ジュン・ヨンフン), also known by his stage name Younghoon (ヨンフン; 영훈), is a member of DREAM PASSPORT's Japanese idol boy group ORβIT.
Career[]
Pre-debut[]
Young Hoon initially worked as a dancer under DQ Agency before becoming a trainee under Starship Entertainment. He also appeared as a backup dancer in SISTAR's "Give It To Me" MV and was a backup dancer for K.Will during his promotions for "Lay Back". He also was a backup dancer for Sistar19's "Gone Not Around Any Longer" and MBLAQ's "It's War".
Debut with HALO and Controversy[]
Young Hoon eventually left Starship and debuted on June 27, 2014 with HALO under HISTAR Entertainment. For his promotions with HALO, he adapted the stage name "Ooon".
On November 30, 2015, Jeong responded to allegations that he behaved rudely to fans by giving away fan gifts to his girlfriend at the time.[1] He clarified that he did not usually give away fan gifts but that he only gave one phone case to his girlfriend since it fit her phone and not his.[2][3] The company also confirmed that while Jeong used to have a girlfriend, they broke up a while ago and that he was indeed single now.[4]
In May 2018, the group released their second digital single "O.M.G". The single marked the group's final release. A year later, on May 8, 2019, the company announced that the group's exclusive contract had expired in April and that negotiations about the group's future were currently underway.[5][6][7][8] The group has yet to officially disband.

In 2019, Young Hoon participated in the Japanese version of the reality competition show Produce 101, Produce 101 Japan.[10][11][12] He auditioned as part of the group Hello Again. He received an evaluation grade of B and was later re-evaluated as a C. He left the show after Episode 11 due to undisclosed personal reasons[13][14] and ended up ranking 21st with 383,463 votes.
Debut with ORβIT[]
On February 5, 2020, Jeong was announced as a member of the project group ORβIT.[15] He was selected as the leader. He was assigned Saturn as his representative planet.
On June 19, 2020, the group released a pre-debut single entitled Lazurite, referencing their fandom color.[16]
On August 20, the group announced the release of their debut album 00 for November 11, 2020.[17][18] His member teaser was released on October 19, 2020.[19] 00 features his solo track "MOONCRYSTALPOWER", which he also wrote.[20]
